Power Gauntlets

But, really… power gauntlets.  They’re called ‘The Bodyguard‘.  Designed by David Brown, these armored-sleeve gloves house a hi-def video camera, a laser-sight for targeting the camera, a flashlight… and a high-voltage stunner.  Yes– they’re taser gloves. Electrodes on the back of the wrist deliver the voltage, activated by a trigger on the palm (seems foolproof to me; what could possibly go wrong?)
According to Brown, he wanted to create a weapon the user could “deploy instinctively”; also, one that couldn’t be dropped like a knife or a gun.  I’d say he achieved those goals admirably.
But the coolest thing about this?  We’re seeing the seed of the Ironman armor.  This is the suit, Mk .001… or, the glint in Stark’s eye.
