Do Toxic Monkeys Fling Toxic Poo?

That’s mostly rhetorical; everyone knows that the toxic poo-flinging is a result of either mood, or dietary habits. But this monkey positively looks like it would cause a geiger counter go off like a caffeinated castanet dancer.
But it’s not radioactive; the glow is a result of bioluminescence, via jellyfish genes introduced during the monkey’s embryonic stage. Furthermore, the genes were found to be present in sperm and egg cells of the test simians, meaning that the trait can be passed on to the offspring.
Seriously– glow-in-the-dark monkeys. The ape house at the zoo is going disco.
